REGIONAL SALES MANAGER – Kansas City, MO – RSM- KC – Apply Here

Responsible for the training and oversight of Sales Representatives. Assist Sales Representatives with generating new business and sales opportunities. Develops relationships with new and existing customers.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist Sales Representatives with prospecting, cold calling, qualifying accounts, and calling on current customers on a weekly basis. Coach representatives on performance and motivate to sell.
  • Train new sales force members.
  • Manage data through Salesforce to drive strategic sales and create accountability in sales team.
  • Call on assigned accounts and maintain contact with all accounts.
  • Assist in performance reviews of sales force and in preparing annual sales budget forecast.
  • Report out regularly against sales metrics to drive accountability.

The Program Manager will support sales and operations by managing execution steps within the lifecycle of a program timeline through scheduling, overall coordination, implementation, execution, and completion ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of program.
  • Ensures all projects stay on track and meet established deadlines through timelines.
  • Evaluates problem situations to identify causes, gathers, and processes relevant information, generates possible solutions, and/or resolves the problem.
  • Sets priorities, develops a work schedule, monitors project progress, and tracks and oversees details/data / information/activities.
  • Manage inventory process with internal and outside facilities. Review inbound/outbound information for accuracy and discrepancies while Communicating results to required internal/external contacts.

The Project Manager will be responsible for the management all projects according to Customer’s expectations. Monitoring inventory, reporting on the movement of stock. Tracking projects from concept to shipping. Provide project updates to various departments. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review and ensure that all assigned projects are scheduled and managed according to customers’ expectations. 
  • Attend scheduling meetings.
  • Monitor inventory, warehouse items. Provide input to management as to availability of stock, slow moving, and fast-moving items.
  • Establish, initiate, and monitor timelines for full programs.
  • Manage program to ensure all active participants are on target.
  • Track specific aspects of a program from concept to shipment,
  • Keep all personnel informed of problems and situations that may affect the performance of sales service, scheduling, and shipping.

The Operational General Manager provides the leadership and management to drive improvement through the proper operational practices and controls that ensure superior manufacturing execution, delivering, year over year performance improvement for multiple business units in the mid-west. The OGM validates that all required resources are effectively executed to safeguard the operating efficiencies and strengths of the company today and prepare for growth. This leader is responsible for two manufacturing plants and one assembly and fulfillment warehouse operation. The position is responsible for maintaining a positive work environment and building employee engagement while establishing operational budgets and cost controls that help achieve financial success. The OGM leads the operational department heads in establishing and implementing objectives, procedures, and processes that support the company’s mission. The positions goals are accomplished by supporting the vision set forth by the COO and executive management team while guided by the mission and objectives of the company. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Codify and sustain a strong working production environment ensuring that environmental, health, safety and quality methods and practices are in place and effectively managed including Vanguard ISO standards to promote a culture of health and safety.
  • Oversight of day-to-day manufacturing operations.

  • Responsible for the design and implementation of short and long-term improvement plans, including production incentive programs, production training programs, supervision training exercises and other operation excellence initiatives.
  • Leads manufacturing team in collaboration with HR in employee retention and engagement.
  • Ensure that capacity and manufacturing schedules are meeting customer expectations and needs to facilitate growth.
  • Work with Materials Department to assist in best practices for procurement of raw materials and plant scheduling.
  • Work closely with COO and sales leadership to implement new opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Operations, Engineering, technical degree, or related field or equivalent educations and experience
  • Seven (7) plus years of leadership experience in a plant management, general management, or a mid-career level role
  • Strong management, leadership, and communication skills within a manufacturing environment
  • Professional, hands-on, action-oriented manager with ability to drive results
  • Ability to mentor and build effective employees, supervisors and teams through the identification and development of skills, capabilities, and leadership of others
  • Strong business management characteristics including budgeting, labor planning, forecasting, equipment planning, compliance, and other financial controls
  • High level of integrity with a proven track record of initiative, integrity, business ethics and professionalism.
  • Leadership skills including creative problem solving, planning, organizing, developing talent and ability to sponsor change

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Corrugated display, industrial packaging or closely related industry experience preferred
  • Strong continuous improvement experience
  • Experience in managing an assembly and fulfillment operation
  • eCommerce business experience with buildout of newly developed eCommerce platform
