USDA Appoints Paper and Packaging Board Members for 2022

The Paper and Packaging Board (P+PB) announces three new board members appointed by USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack.  Scott Light, Georgia-Pacific, Beth Cormier, Sappi, and Richard Bennett, Pactiv Evergreen, will begin their three-year appointment immediately.

An eight-member Board of Directors representing the four grades of paper funding the Paper & Packaging – How Life Unfolds® campaign oversees the paper and packaging sectors’ national promotion program focused on sustainability and recycling. Officers and board members for 2022 are:

·       Vice-Chair, Jonathan Kraft, President, The Kraft Group

·       Secretary/Treasurer, Fred Towler, Chief Diversity Officer & Vice President Global Talent Management, International Paper Co.

·       At-Large Member, Rob Melton, Vice President and General Manager, Paper, Domtar

·       Beth Cormier, Vice President of Research, Development and Sustainability, Sappi

·       Richard Bennett, Vice President of Paperboard Sales & MarketingPactiv Evergreen

·       James Harrell, Vice President, Industrial Americas, Sonoco
