Bob McIlvaine will retire as CEO of TRG effective 12/31/22. Bob joined the Royal Group in 1990 becoming President in 1995. He has been instrumental to the success of TRG throughout his 32-year career. During Bob’s tenure with TRG, he built an amazing management team, modernized the manufacturing capabilities, and increased sales every year under his leadership.
These achievements were accomplished during some of the most challenging times including the great recession financial crisis and the recent pandemic.
“We thank Bob for his leadership and commitment to the company and our family culture”, said John Schwarz, General Partner at Schwarz Partners.
Effective January 1, 2023, Kevin Miller will assume the role of President & CEO of The Royal Group. Miller began his career with TRG as a sales representative in 2006. After leaving TRG to run a consulting firm—focused on helping CEO’s and their companies find, train, and develop talent—he rejoined TRG in 2017. Since his return, Miller has held several roles, including vice president of business development, vice president and Mid-Atlantic general manager and vice president and Eastern regional general manager.
“Kevin has excelled in every role assigned to him, most notably his current role as president. The Schwarz Family is excited to have Kevin as CEO and expect our success to continue with his leadership. Bob and Kevin have built a great team in TRG and worked seamlessly on this transition. We will miss Bob’s tenured leadership and are confident in Kevin and the management team’s ability to lead us to further success”, said Schwarz.
