The first contact between Tillmann-Verpackungen and Baysek took place back in 2019. After other projects were given priority for the time being, the decision has now been made in favor of a Baysek C-170 and Tillmann Verpackungen Schmalkalden is looking forward to the new die cutter, which is scheduled to arrive at the end of August 2023.
Tillmann Verpackungen Schmalkalden was founded in Thuringia in 1992 and is now run as a typical medium-sized company in the 2nd generation. With approx. 75 employees, punched parts, cardboard boxes, web sets and packaging solutions such as CKD packaging for the automotive industry, but also all other processing industries are manufactured at 4 different locations.
The customers are mainly located in the new federal states, but increasingly also nationwide and are served by our own truck fleet. In order to continue to be in a strong competitive position, automation is a crucial component for cost leadership.
The Baysek is a high-performance die cutter that is guided by only one operator. The finished die-cut material can be taken directly from the deposit to the delivery warehouse without any further manual finishing, thus reducing the cost structure and delivery times in equal measure.
