Smurfit Kappa and Westrock announce definitive merger agreement

Dublin-based Smurfit Kappa Group and US packaging company Westrock will merge to create Smurfit Westrock, a global packaging giant, with “unparalleled scale, quality and geographic diversity.” Transaction to be completed in Q2 2024.
