Mayr-Melnhof Board & Paper intends to increase prices across its entire cartonboard range by €75/t from October.
According to the company’s announcement, price increases apply to both GD and liner board as well as primary fibre grades.
The company explained that the decision was a response to the ongoing rise in costs and persistent pressure on margins. MM says the costs of energy, logistics and chemicals in particular remain significantly above historical levels and have been highly volatile since March this year.
