Hamburger Containerboard to hike RCCM prices as of June

Hamburger Containerboard plans to further increase prices for white and brown recycled corrugated case materials (RCCM).

Prices are meant to rise by €60/t across all European markets with effect from 1 June, the company announced in late May.

The planned price hike is set to apply not only to brown recycled containerboard grades, but also to coated and uncoated white-top testliner, Hamburger Containerboard explained in a statement.

Hamburger Containerboard, part of Austria’s Prinzhorn Group, employs around 2,700 people and produces RCCM and plasterboard liner at paper mills in five countries across Europe.
