FROEB Verpackungen Invest in Baysek Machines Die Cutter

FROEB Verpackungen, a large family owned developer of packaging for over 100 years, choose the Baysek C-170 die cutter for corrugated packaging and partitions converting.
Founded in 1912 in Wurzbach, Germany, Froeb specializes in packaging development & production, ESD  (electrostatic discharge), digital printing, partitions, cushion paper and more.

When global travel bans prohibited Froeb from visiting Baysek Machines headquarters in Nelsonville, WI U.S.A., Froeb visited virtually for a C-170 demonstration and facility tour. A custom die was made by Baysek’s local die maker and tests were run for virtual observation. Froeb was impressed by the versatility of the Baysek and its ability to run simple to complex items of both large and small formats. The Baysek shear cuts, fully automatically strips waste, accurately counts and neatly stacks up to 60 individual pieces per cycle at a rate of 1800 sheets per hour.

In addition to its Wurzbach headquarters, Froeb acquired a second packaging factory in Sonneberg, Germany in 2020. Both facilities employ approximately 50 workers each.
