For the first time, a Russian corrugated board plant made it into a military report

On September 13, 2026, Ukrainian sources reported an air strike on the “Shebekino Board” plant in Belgorod Oblast. The facility sits 6 km from the Russian-Ukrainian border and roughly 10 km from the front line. According to Ukrainian intelligence, Russia’s 128th Separate Motor Rifle Brigade had set up a logistics hub and a lab for assembling, configuring, and testing “Molniya” drones in one of the plant’s workshops. The strike reportedly killed drone test engineers.
