Domtar has pledged $50,000 to the Foundation for Packaging Education.
”Domtar reinforces its commitment to the Independent with this generous donation to the Foundation. We appreciate their engagement with and support of industry education,” said Michael M. D’Angelo, AICC President.
This contribution will be used to further the mission of the Foundation and help create a more robust workforce in corrugated, folding carton, and rigid box manufacturing plants by providing more educational opportunities throughout the industry.
“At Domtar, we are dedicated to helping make independent corrugated converters more successful,” said Domtar Packaging Senior Vice President Steve Henry. “We are pleased to support the AICC’s Foundation for Packaging Education to support the development of education and training resources for the independent corrugated converting workforce. Every worker deserves an opportunity to better themselves, and we are proud to partner with the AICC on this important workforce development initiative to help make that opportunity possible.”
