Business Person of the Month September 2023: Tony Smurfit oversees merger of Smurfit Kappa and WestRock

Tony Smurfit is Chief Executive Officer of Smurfit Kappa, which is soon to merge with WestRock to become Smurfit WestRock, ‘one of the world’s largest paper and packaging producers’. He was appointed in August 2015, succeeding business veteran Gary McGann.
