AICC: November Brings a Virtual and Live Programs for AICC Members

AICC, The Independent Packaging Association, has virtual training options for sales, production and more this November. AICC will also host a Virtual Plant Tour of Acme Corrugated, while members will be meeting in person at the West Coast Golf Tournament and the AICC Mexico 2021 Annual Meeting & Trade Show. 

Members from across the country will tour Acme Corrugated Box Co., virtually on Friday, November 5. Acme Corrugated Box Co., Inc. is a third generation, family-owned, corrugated packaging manufacturer located in Hatboro, PA, servicing PA, NJ, DE and MD. The tour is free for AICC members, but registration is required. 

On Tuesday, November 16, members will come together on a new golf course for the 37th Annual West Coast Golf Tournament. Held at the Strawberry Farms Golf Club in Irvine, CA, attendees will enjoy an 18-hole, par-71 course set amid canyons and wetlands and offers stunning vistas across the 35-acre reservoir and rolling greens surrounded by wildlife and natural vegetation. 

The SOLD OUT AICC Mexico Annual Meeting and Trade Fair will take place November 17-19 in Monterrey, Mexico. Speakers include Patricia Inés Christensen of the Asociacion Mexicana de Envase y Embalaje (AMEE), an expert in packaging, design and brand identity will speak on creating value through packaging design. Juan Jacobo Mondragón, industrial engineer, will discuss total quality systems design in corrugated packaging operations, while Hiram Cruz, also of AMEE, will present ways to optimize paperboard materials and reduce waste in the production process. 

Sales professionals will learn how to effectively answer “Why should we buy from you?” during the webinar Create Impactful Value Statements for Every Sales Opportunity on Wednesday, November 3.

AICC Technical Advisors Tom Weber and Ralph Young will share their knowledge of paperboard substrate surface characteristics and the manufacturing processes that build the printing interface in the webinar, Defining the Graphic Grades of Substrates on Tuesday, November 9. 

Created with the support of Education Investor, EFI Best Practices for Effective Paper Management will teach attendees how to create a detailed analysis of a corrugator running schedule and identify huge saving opportunities by consolidating paper grades and widths from your inventory on Thursday, November 11.
