AICC: Changing Roles, Employee Development, and What Your HR Professionals Need to Know

AICC, The Independent Packaging Association, understands that many members are searching for new employees and have current employees moving roles within their companies. To help employees in new roles and HR professionals get ready for potential challenges, AICC has developed several new webinars.

Beginning a new role can be difficult. New expectations, new responsibilities, and managing existing relationships in a new way. Building Trust in New or Evolving Roles will help attendees understand the three elements to building trust in new role on Wednesday, October 20.

For new and seasoned process improvement professionals, AICC is offering What Every Process Improvement Professional Needs to Know on Thursday, October 28. This webinar shares an overview of the mindset, methods, and tools required to effectively lead your company’s efforts to improve quality and productivity to become a learning organization.

In 2021, the U.S. EEOC announced that for the 11th year in a row, retaliation was the #1 basis of all charges filed. Learn the basis of these charges and how to avoid them in Workplace Retaliation: The Employment Boomerang on Tuesday, November 16.

Letting go can be hard. Learn an empowerment matrix that will help leaders become comfortable empowering others, let go, and allow teams to grow in their positions in Empowering Others for Success on Thursday, December 9.

A great coach learns about the capabilities of their people and puts them in the best position to be successful. How Do Leaders Become Coaches? on Thursday, February 10, 2022 will teach attendees to set standards for behavior and performance, empower people to make decisions and solve problems, and how to become a mentor.

The current Administration has made and may be planning more changes to wage and hour rules. There is also plenty of activity at the state and local levels. Keep up with the latest regulations during Don’t Play With My Pay: A Wage and Hour Update on Wednesday, February 16, 2022.

Managing employee absences can be a daily challenge. The challenge is compounded by “presenteeism” – when an employee is present but not engaged or performing satisfactorily.  Add to that, trends sweeping the nation as states, and local jurisdictions enact laws that require various types of paid and unpaid leave, in addition to federal mandates like the ADA and FMLA. Managing Disability and Leave Issues, Tuesday, May 24, 2022, an interactive program, will help HR professionals, managers and supervisors lay the groundwork to set expectations for and enforce attendance expectations, manage disability, and leave issues while building proactive employment practices.
