Joaquin is back by popular demand with a whole new world to explain to us.  With tariffs, trade deals and currency pressures around every corner, we need his help again.  He is a senior economist for Numera Analytics in Montreal, leading the Macro Research practice. Joaquin is an empirical macroeconomist, specialized in business cycle macro and applied time series econometrics. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from University College London, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from McGill University.

Brisebois is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Retail Council of Canada (RCC) and has held that position since 1995. Prior to joining RCC, Diane held the position of President and CEO of the Canadian Office Products Association for 14 years.Retail Council is the largest retail association in the country representing more than 45,000 retail establishments of all shapes and sizes from coast to coast. RCC`s membership covers all retail segments including general merchandise, grocery and pharmacy and accounts for more than 70% of all retail sales in the country excluding auto and gas sales.
Mary Anne Hansan, Executive Director, Paper and Packaging Board (P+PB)The Casey & Page Campaign Mary Anne joined the Paper and Packaging Board (P+PB) as its first Executive Director in May 2014.  Mary Anne has spent more than 30 years in a wide range of industry marketing and communications positions working on campaigns for industries including seafood (canned tuna), plastics, chemicals and flowers.  At the National Fisheries Institute, Mary Anne led the association’s efforts to correct misinformation about mercury and eating seafood, particularly tuna during pregnancy, and led the development of a national marketing campaign in 2011 for the canned tuna segment, “Tuna the Wonderfish”.  Other prominent trade associations Mary Anne has spearheaded campaigns include the American Chemistry Council’s “Essential 2” reputation and advocacy campaign, the American Plastics Council ‘s award-winning “Plastics Make It Possible” consumer advertising campaign and the floral industry’s “Think Flowers” USDA  checkoff and demand building campaign.

We look forward to learning about current affairs, opportunities and challenges of our industry from an international perspective. 
Gregory Rudder, Managing Editor PPI Pulp & Paper WeekNorth American Trends in Corrugated and a Global View Greg Rudder brings a broad knowledge of the global corrugated packaging industry.  Following graduation from Pepperdine University in California he worked as a newspaper reporter before joining RISI. After a diversified career spanning 23 years, he is now the managing editor.  He will pinpoint the key trends in our market from Canada, USA, Europe and China.
